Description
2-Way Latex Foley Catheter is a medical device used to drain urine from the bladder. It consists of a flexible tube made of latex with a balloon at one end and a drainage port at the other end. The balloon is inflated with sterile water after insertion into the bladder, which prevents the catheter from slipping out. The drainage port is connected to a collection bag for the urine to be collected. The 2-way Foley catheter is designed with two channels: one for inflating and deflating the balloon and the other for draining urine. It is commonly used for short-term urinary drainage in hospitals or long-term use in patients with urinary retention or incontinence.
